Lithos Design Lab

SUMMER 2016, Cortona Italy

This project focuses on designing an Exhibition for an Italian Company of our choice. I selected Lithos design, a innovative stone design company. This Exhibition highlights their advanced Design Lab in which they push technology of stone and work to advance the most basic of materials into works of art. 

Lithos Design’s passion for innovating the natural element of stone, makes them a leading company in industrial stone design. The Company’s mission is to produce not only products, but also to provide a diffusion of knowledge about natural stone, about its uniqueness and its surprising flexibility of use. Every model comes to life in the Lithos Design laboratory in collaboration with designer Raffaello Galiotto: the type of marble is chosen, technology is plied to achieve a perfect marriage with stone and to reveal its most hidden beauty. This exhibit allows each visitor to experience Lithos Design’s creative process taking them from the stone quarry to the finished piece.
