Mimi graduated from the University of Georgia in May of 2017 with a BFA in Interior Design from the Lamar Dodd School of Art. She is from Savannah, Georgia and has surrounded herself with unique, inspiring creatives since she was young. While rooted in the South, Mimi has studied and worked in LA, London, and Italy; experiences that continue to influence and enrich her work.

Mimi uses several mediums to create work that is utilitarian, relevant and bold. Interior Design has served as the platform for all of the creative processes she has tapped into. The execution of her work is energetic, positive and dynamic. She does not hold herself to a particular field of design, but rather focuses on removing the boundaries between them.

Mimi was drawn to the field of design because of its power to influence what people see, touch, and ultimately feel. Her work is intentional yet spontaneous. She seeks to break social norms about what art could and should be, and thrives in the conceptual process.
